IETT Found Missing Woman in Istanbul

Zekiye Tutkun, 58, who has bipolar disorder in Istanbul, went missing on Sunday morning, January 12, 2025. When her family could not reach her despite all their searches, they contacted the İETT with the help of the neighborhood headman.

TRACE OF ISTANBUL CARD FOUND

İETT examined Zekiye Tutkun's Istanbul Card data to determine which bus she got on and where she got off. As a result of the investigations, it was determined that Tutkun got off the bus near Prof. Dr. Süleyman Yalçın City Hospital.

HOSPITAL

Based on the information they received from IETT, her family went to the hospital and intensified their search. The woman, who was reported to have been wandering around the hospital for two days, was found sitting in the hospital corridor.
