IMM Begins Road and Environmental Arrangement in Beyoğlu

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) will carry out a pedestrian area arrangement work of 100 thousand square meters on a total of 2.350 m road route within the scope of Beyoğlu Sütlüce D-30 Connection Şişhane Refik Saydam Street Road Route and Green Areas Arrangement Work. Within the scope of the project, a total of 50 thousand square meters of green area will be rearranged in Şehit Şeyhmuz Demir (Hasköy Park), Cezayirli Hasan Paşa, Şişhane, Karaköy Coastal Parks located in the region.

THE INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE REGION WILL BE RENEWED

Within the scope of infrastructure projects, rehabilitation and renewal works will be carried out for the region's rainwater, wastewater, drinking water, natural gas, electricity, fiber line infrastructures. Within the scope of the work, a 165-meter-long wall will also be built. In addition, a vehicle underpass will be built.

TRANSPORTATION WILL BE PROVIDED THROUGH ALTERNATIVE ROUTES

During the works, Melek Street in Camii Kebir Neighborhood will be closed to traffic until August 31. IETT and minibus lines will continue to provide service using the Kasımpaşa-Hasköy Tunnel. Deniz Hastanesi and Yeniçeşme stops will be temporarily disabled. In order to facilitate access to the Yeniçeşme stop, free shuttle services will be organized from the Hasköy Park stop. A temporary pedestrian bridge will be built within the project borders to provide pedestrian crossings.
