GB Railfreight has announced that its first Class 99 locomotive, No. 99001, has begun its test run. The locomotive has embarked on a 2.000 kilometre journey to the Velim Test Track in the Czech Republic.

Locomotive number 99001 left Stadler’s factory in Valencia earlier this week. It is currently on its way to the Czech Republic, where it will undergo rigorous testing and commissioning procedures.
