Festive Spirits Across North America with the CPKC Holiday Train

Each year, the CPKC Holiday Train brings together communities across North America to celebrate the holiday spirit and showcase the power of philanthropy. During its 2024 journey, the iconic train raised $1,75 million and celebrated the achievement of collecting 130.000 pounds of food.

Since its first voyage in 1999:

  • 26,1 million dollars donations were collected.
  • 5,4 million pounds food aid was provided.
  • Annual route, seven canadian provinces ve 13 US states covers.

Firsts and Highlights in 2024

This year, the CPKC Holiday Train made its first stop in Atlantic Canada, delighting the community in Saint John, New Brunswick. Its bright lights and live music brought the joy of the holiday to attendees.

It also provided significant support for smaller communities. For example, the South Cariboo Elizabeth Fry Society in Ashcroft, Canada, was able to use the train to Over $125.000 received donations.

Extensions in the US and Mexico

    • in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi 13 communities visited.
    • For local food banks collected.
    • Visitors experienced the train's festive decorations and activities with Santa Claus.
  2. Tren Navideno (Mexico)
    • Bringing joy to underserved communities since 2010.
    • In 2024, Nine cities visited.
    • Its environmentally friendly locomotive and designs reflected local culture and traditions.
