
Turkey's rail systems manufacturer Bozankaya, is preparing to produce new metro trains for Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. After exporting 2018 metro wagons to Bangkok in 88 through a consortium with Siemens Mobility, the company is now undertaking a larger project. According to the statement, Bozankaya and Siemens Mobility have reached an agreement to form a new consortium to produce 159 metro wagons.
On Which Lines Will the New Metro Wagons Be Used?
Of the subway cars to be produced, 96 will serve on the Orange Line and 63 on the Blue Line. These new subway sets will play an important role in improving Bangkok’s transportation infrastructure.
