Bayraktar TB2 in the Sky with ASELSAN's New Generation Electronic Pod

Developed by ASELSAN, one of the leading companies in the Turkish defense industry ANTIDOT-2U/S electronic support pod, successfully completed the flight test with Bayraktar TB2 SİHA. Baykar announced this important development by sharing images of the test flight on its official social media accounts.

ANTIDOT-2U/S Pod: A New Era in Electronic Warfare

The ANTIDOT-2U/S electronic support pod was developed to provide electronic warfare capabilities to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The pod has critical capabilities such as detecting radar signals of threat air defense systems, identifying them, recording signals, determining the direction of the threat, and determining its location. This system can instantly transmit the data it obtains to ground control stations, thus supporting real-time operational decision processes.

One of the most striking features of the pod is, can be easily integrated into tactical class UAVs. Users can decide to add pods or ammunition as needed before the operation. This flexibility increases the effectiveness of operations in the field.

SAHA EXPO 2024: Introduction of ANTIDOT Family

Held in 2024 FIELD EXPO At the fair, ASELSAN introduced three new products of the ANTIDOT Electronic Warfare System family. Among these products are:

  1. ANTIDOT 2-U LB/MB/HB System: A pod that provides operational capability over a wide frequency range.
  2. ANTIDOT 2-U System: A system capable of transforming UAVs into electronic warfare weapons.
  3. ANTIDOT 2-U/S System: Pod that offers advanced detection and location determination capabilities against threatening air defense radars.

President of Defense Industries Haluk Gorgun, emphasized the strategic importance of these systems for the Turkish Armed Forces during the introduction and expressed his gratitude to the ASELSAN team.
