Anadolu Isuzu has signed an export agreement worth 85 million Euros with Kyivpastrans, the municipal company that manages the above-ground public transport services of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, for 12 Citiport 18,6 buses. This agreement once again demonstrates Anadolu Isuzu’s strength in international markets and the modern solutions it offers to the public transport sector.
Modern and environmentally friendly public transportation with Citiport 12
Kyivpastrans, which serves more than 1.5 million passengers a day and has the largest municipal bus fleet in Ukraine, decided to strengthen its fleet with Isuzu Citiport buses as a result of the public tender it opened with funds provided by the European Investment Bank (EIB). The Isuzu Citiport 12 model buses, which stand out with their high passenger capacity, energy efficiency and low emission values, will make a significant contribution to the public transport system of Kiev, which has been considerably worn out in recent years. With their ergonomic design and superior comfort features, they will both improve the passenger experience and offer an environmentally friendly transportation alternative. The delivery of the vehicles is planned to start in the second half of this year. All service and other after-sales services to be provided to Kyivpastrans within the scope of the tender will be provided by Zeynela Motorlu Taşıtlar A.Ş., Anadolu Isuzu’s authorized Ukrainian distributor and service, a subsidiary of Soycan Group of Companies.
Strengthens its power in the international market
This agreement with Kyivpastrans, one of the most important authorities in the city's transportation infrastructure, once again demonstrates the trust and customer satisfaction Anadolu Isuzu has provided in international markets, and also shows that the company will be one of the closest solution partners of the competent authorities in the field of reconstruction of Ukrainian public transportation services in the coming period. Anadolu Isuzu will continue to respond to the public transportation needs of cities in the country and abroad in the best way possible with sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation technologies.
