TTI Izmir and TTI Health New Meeting Point in Tourism

The 18th TTI Izmir International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress and TTI Health 2nd Health Tourism Fair, which were held last week, became both Izmir's and the country's gateway to the world in tourism. A total of 74 people from 61 countries and 12 cities in Turkey visited the two fairs.

The 18th TTI Izmir International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress, organized by İZFAŞ and TÜRSAB, hosted by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Ministry of Trade, and the TTI Health Health Tourism Fair, which was held for the second time this year, hosted participants and visitors from all over the world last week. Participants from countries such as Germany, Venezuela, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, and cities all over Turkey attended the TTI Izmir Fair. Ministries, governorships, municipalities, chambers and non-governmental organizations, travel agencies, tour operators, tourism offices, hotels and accommodation facilities, airline and tourism transportation companies, tourism technology and software companies, and many participating institutions from the sector were at the fair. While cities had the opportunity to introduce their own cultures and tourism activities at the fair, hotels, agencies, and all kinds of participants operating in the tourism sector met with professional visitors and made business agreements. In addition to the investment opportunities offered within the scope of TTI Izmir, which has an active role in determining the 2024 roadmap of the tourism sector, talks were also held where many topics related to tourism were discussed. At the fair, 38 industry professionals from 90 countries held inter-company meetings and signed cooperation agreements under the sponsorship of Turkish Airlines.

TTI Health brings health and tourism together

TTI Health 2nd Health Tourism Fair also met with visitors simultaneously with TTI İzmir. International tourism actors and health sector professionals came together at Fuar İzmir. The fair's participant profile consisted of hospitals, clinics, health tourism agencies, aesthetic centers, hospital material and technology suppliers, as well as companies in the thermal tourism, SPA wellness, geriatric tourism, and medical fields. A purchasing delegation program was also organized within the scope of TTI Health in cooperation with the İzmir Chamber of Commerce. Health tourism sector professionals from 16 countries, including Italy, Russia, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates, participated in the purchasing delegation program and held numerous bilateral meetings. A three-day scientific event was also held simultaneously with the fair by the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association. At this meeting, which was attended by 300 participants, many topics were discussed, from the future of health tourism to surgical practices.

TTI Izmir and TTI Health fairs will host their visitors between December 11-13 next year.
