The sea acceptance tests of the Ukrainian MİLGEM 1 DG Magnetic Signal DeGaussing System were successfully completed in the Gulf of İzmit on Friday, November 22, 2024. With the participation of the Dilburnu D/G Station Command, Ukrainian Navy personnel, STM and the TÜBİTAK BİLGEM project team, the magnetic signature management capabilities of the system integrated into the ship for sea platforms were tested.
In the project where STM is the main contractor, the DG System produced by us reduces the ship's magnetic signature to a safe level, providing effective protection against sea mines.
We congratulate all our colleagues who contributed to the development of the system, whose acceptance tests have been successfully completed.
