The winners of the Traditional Chess Tournament organized by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality have been announced.
The Traditional Chess Tournament, organized in collaboration with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Konak Rotary Club, was completed with the participation of 140 athletes. In the organization held at the Historical Gas Factory, athletes competed in four categories. In category A, where athletes with the highest scores competed, Alper Tezcan came first, Ali Oytun Seven came second, and Mert Can Seviğ came third.
First place went to Barış Ayzer Örnek in category B, Zümrüt Egehan in category C, and Zeynep Sümeyye Demirtaş in category D.
The awards of the winning athletes were presented by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Sports Studies Branch Manager Cem Dilsizoğlu, Sports Studies Chief Emre Gönlü, Rotary 2440th District Governor Mert Korur and Konak Rotary President Pınar Aksoy.
