Güray Museum, Turkish World Foundation and Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts Publishing were deemed worthy of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Special Awards.
Minister Ersoy announced the winners of the special awards on his social media account.
Ersoy stated that Güray Museum was deemed worthy of the award for its promotion of the thousands of years of traditional handicraft heritage of the Cappadocia region, its approach that combines the traditional and the modern with its architectural structure and content, and also for being the world's first and only underground ceramic museum, and that the Turkish World Foundation won the award for its contribution to urban life by bringing Turkish culture, literature and art together with the society through projects, events and educational activities, and for inspiring similar initiatives by increasing the cultural and tourism potential of Eskişehir, which is important for the Turkish world.
Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated that Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts Publishing was deemed worthy of the award for providing a wide range of great services to Turkish culture and arts with its gallery, museum and publishing activities, and for offering a living artistic space to art lovers by organizing nearly 250 cultural and art events every year in its art center.
Minister Ersoy said, “I wholeheartedly thank these valuable institutions, which successfully represent our country’s culture and art both nationally and internationally, for their efforts and unique contributions to transferring our cultural heritage to future generations.”
