Antalya Metropolitan Municipality continues to provide beehive grants to producers living in rural areas in order to support the sustainability and development of beekeeping activities. The Metropolitan Municipality recently provided beehive grants to honey producers from Alanya.
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality, which had previously provided beehive grant support to other districts, this time provided it to honey producers from Alanya. A total of 80 beehives were distributed to 160 honey producers who requested and had a certificate by the Agricultural Services Department.
SUPPORT TO APPLICANTS WITH DOCUMENTS
Providing information about the hive grant, Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Agricultural Services Department Rural Development and Cooperatives Branch Directorate officials stated that they will continue to provide hive support to producers who have a document proving that they are engaged in beekeeping activities and who apply.
HONEY PRODUCERS THANKED
Honey producers who received beehive grants in Alanya stated that this support was important for them at a time when costs were constantly increasing, and said, “This grant made us happy in terms of supporting production.
