Suzuki, one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, continues to attract attention with its models developed with a problem-free and innovative production principle. In this context, Suzuki's new Swift model, which has started to be sold in our country, was awarded the 2025 RJC Car of the Year award by the Japan Automotive Researchers and Journalists Conference (RJC). While domestic and imported passenger cars are included in the award in Japan, the best awards are given in three categories: "Japanese Automobile Category", "Imported Automobile Category" and "Technology Category".

The RJC jury praised the fourth-generation Swift for its new exterior design, advanced 1.2-litre hybrid engine and recalibrated suspension, as well as the superior driving dynamics provided by the lightweight and rigid ‘HEARTECT’ platform. It is also noteworthy that all fourth-generation Swift models offer best-in-class safety features as standard. The new Swift stands out with its sharp design, advanced safety features and colourful, efficient and agile driving characteristics that redefine everyday mobility, offering consumers an advanced and intelligent option. While preserving the characteristic design foundations of the generations it replaces, it has gained both a very powerful appearance and aerodynamic competence and efficiency, and was awarded the Car of the Year award in the Japanese Cars category.
