Ankara Fire Department has started the physical competence, vehicle use and oral exam process to include 300 firefighters in its staff based on merit. 1500 candidates who graduated from the Civil Defense and Fire Department from all over Turkey are working hard in the practical exam course and interview to become the most equipped firefighter of the future.
THE INTERVIEW WILL LAST FOR 15 DAYS
The interview process for the firefighter recruitments, whose applications were completed between November 18-22, 2024, will continue for 15 days with a pentathlon, vehicle use and oral examination process at the central station of the Ankara Fire Department in İskitler.
CANDIDATES FROM ALL OVER TURKEY ARE PARTICIPATING
Emphasizing that Ankara Fire Department will be strengthened every passing day by employing new personnel, Fire Department Head Ali Levent Çeri said, “We expanded the vehicle fleet of our Ankara Fire Department by 90 percent, opened new fire stations and now we are increasing our personnel power by hiring new personnel. We continue to hire personnel based on merit. In the interviews that have started with 1500 candidates; we started the exam with the measurement of pentathlon, vehicle usage and professional knowledge. Young Fire Department Vocational School graduates from all over our country are participating in the exam we hold to strengthen our fire department personnel family.”
