Free Soil Analysis Service for Farmers in Ankara

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality has completed its free soil analysis service for farmers for 2024. BelPlas Soil Analysis Team provided analysis support to 12 farmers in a total area of ​​126 decares in 41 neighborhoods of 594 districts.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to support Ankara farmers with its scientific studies in order to increase the efficiency of agricultural production.

BelPlas, a subsidiary of the Metropolitan Municipality, completed its free soil analysis service for farmers in 12 with 126 analyses carried out in 2 neighborhoods of 279 districts.

EQUAL SERVICE TO DISTRICTS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER

BelPlas AŞ Deputy General Manager Ali Tokmak gave information about the work done and said:

“We have concluded the second year of our soil analysis service, which we started in 2023 to provide scientific support to our farmers in Ankara in their agricultural activities, with the start of the rains. In our soil analysis service, equal service was provided to our districts this year in accordance with the alphabetical order principle. So far, 2 free analyses have been performed on a total of 12 decares of land in 126 districts and 41 neighborhoods.”

ANALYSIS WAS MADE IN 12 DISTRICTS, IN AN AREA OF 41 THOUSAND 549 DECARES

Throughout 2024, the BelPlas Soil Analysis Team visited farmers’ fields in different districts of Ankara and conducted soil analyses. The teams, which started working in alphabetical order, carried out full applications in Akyurt, Altındağ, Ayaş, Bala, Beypazarı districts; and partial applications in Çankaya, Gölbaşı, Haymana, Kahramankazan, Kalecik, Polatlı and Sincan districts. With the analyses carried out on a total of 41 acres of land, farmers’ soil needs were determined in a short time of 549-15 minutes and appropriate solutions were offered.
