Supply line failure in Konak
In Konak Tram, the power was cut off after smoke came out of the manhole in Montreux Square at night. During the checks, it was determined that there was a fault in the power line of the transformer located in Basmane Square that provides power to the line. Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Technical Services Department teams started to dismantle the asphalt and concrete to access the cable. It was reported that when the faulty part of the power cable is reached, the fault will be fixed by making an addition.
Due to a malfunction, there is no operation between Atatürk Sports Hall - Konak stops. Operations between Konak - Fahrettin Altay and Halkapınar - Atatürk Sports Hall continue. Public transportation between Halkapınar - Konak is supported by additional bus services of ESHOT.
