Big Step for Barrier-Free Transportation in Trabzon

Purchased with the support of charitable citizens living in Germany and Austria under the leadership of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, 115 disabled vehicles will be distributed to those in need in Trabzon.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Metin Genç's sensitivity to making the lives of individuals with special needs easier has received support from philanthropists living abroad. With the organizations held in Germany and Austria under the leadership of the Metropolitan Municipality, 90 battery-powered and 25 manual disabled vehicles were purchased by philanthropic citizens. 115 disabled vehicles loaded onto a truck from the Czech Republic under the coordination of the Metropolitan Municipality Social Services Department set off to be delivered to those in need in Trabzon.

WE OVERCOME OBSTACLES TOGETHER

In a statement made by the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, it was stated that “Increasing the quality of life of our individuals with special needs and ensuring that they can participate in society more effectively is one of our most important responsibilities. In this context, as the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality, we took a big step with the support of our fellow citizens and charitable citizens. We collected 115 disabled vehicles with organizations held in Germany and Austria. These vehicles will be delivered to those in need in Trabzon in a short time.
