The Kura Viaduct, built as part of the Ardahan-Posof-Türkgözü road, was completed as a 276-meter-long double bridge over the Kura River in Ardahan and opened to traffic. With this important project, transportation in the region will be facilitated and a safe route will be provided for drivers.
Explanations About the Project
AK Party Ardahan MP Kaan Koç, in his statement regarding the opening of the viaduct, emphasized that these projects are of great importance to Ardahan. Koç thanked those who contributed to the project, and thanked President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu and all the people of Ardahan. Kaan Koç also stated that the AK Party government is happy to fulfill its promises to Ardahan. Koç stated that they will continue their work in order to provide more services to Ardahan in the future.
Importance of Kura Viaduct
The Kura Viaduct, as part of the Ardahan-Posof-Türkgözü road, will facilitate access to the Ilgar Mountain Tunnel in particular and make traffic flow in the region safer. The opening of the viaduct will strengthen the transportation network in the region and eliminate one of the major deficiencies in Ardahan's transportation infrastructure.
