After receiving the Ornekkoy 3rd and 4th Stage, Uzundere 3rd and 4th Stage urban transformation project areas from the construction cooperatives, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality took the same step for Aktepe-Emrez 1st Stage. The projects will be completed rapidly in the new period with the coordination of İZBETON and Egeşehir AŞ, the subsidiaries of the Metropolitan Municipality.
Starting a new era in urban transformation, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality took action first for the Örnekköy 3rd and 4th Stages and Uzundere 3rd and 4th Stages, and then for the Aktepe-Emrez 1st Stage, following the legal processes regarding the suspension of construction works.
The urban transformation project areas in two stages each in Örnekköy and Uzundere were received by the contractor and license holder İZBETON A.Ş. as determined in the court reports. Finally, the necessary procedure for the first stage of Aktepe-Emrez was completed.
The grievances will be resolved
In a statement made yesterday by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality regarding the process, it was stated that the work programs related to each urban transformation project will be presented to the citizens separately and that “We will continue to pay rent assistance to our entitled citizens who have transferred their title deeds to our municipality within the scope of urban transformation projects and we will also meet the grievances and expectations of our cooperative member citizens who undertake the construction work within the legal framework.”
