Elbi Elektrik, one of the leading companies in the electrical sector, held a blood donation event at its factory in cooperation with the Turkish Red Crescent on Friday, November 15, 2024. The event, supported by volunteers from surrounding factories and neighborhoods as well as factory employees, started at 09:30 in the morning and continued until 17:30. The importance of blood donation was emphasized once again at the event, where many volunteers donated blood to save lives.
HIGH PARTICIPATION FROM EMPLOYEES AND TURKISH RED CRESCENT MEDALS
Six Elbi Elektrik employees who participated in the event were awarded various medals according to the Turkish Red Crescent's medal system. The Turkish Red Crescent presented honorary awards to donors by giving bronze medals to those who donated blood 6 times, silver medals to those who donated blood 10 times, gold medals to those who donated blood 25 times, and plaques to those who donated blood 35 times.
In this context, medals were presented to employees after their donations. These meaningful awards symbolized the employees' commitment and contributions to social responsibility.
EVENT WITH WIDE PARTICIPATION AND SOCIAL MEDIA SUPPORT
The event, announced by Elbi Elektrik on its social media accounts, reached a wide audience with the participation of employees of neighboring factories around the factory and neighborhood residents who learned about it through social media.
All volunteer donors who supported the event contributed to this important social responsibility project by drawing attention to the life-saving role of blood donation.
