20,3 Million TL Asphalt Investment in Malazgirt Boulevard

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç announced that asphalt renewal work costing 5,2 million 20 thousand TL was carried out on the 360-kilometer section of Malazgirt Boulevard in the Melikgazi district, connecting Nalçik Boulevard and Kadir Has Boulevard, and that the road was opened to traffic.

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, under the management of Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, continues its efforts and works to maximize transportation comfort in the city center and rural areas.

In this context, asphalt renewal works were carried out following the infrastructure works completed on Malazgirt Boulevard in Melikgazi district, which connects Nalchik Boulevard, one of the important transportation arteries of the city, and Kadir Has Boulevard, in the works carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality Department of Technical Affairs teams.

Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, in his statement on the subject, said, “In the asphalt renewal works, the existing asphalt that has completed its lifespan was scraped with a milling scraping cost of approximately 2 million TL and stored to be used on district roads in need. In this way, a total of 3 thousand cubic meters of milling material was used and recycled.”

Noting that 18 tons of hot asphalt was laid at a cost of approximately 360 million 10 thousand TL on Malazgirt Boulevard, where hot asphalt works were completed, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that asphalt renewal work was carried out on 200 kilometers of road.

Büyükkılıç announced that the road was opened to traffic and concluded his words by saying, “As the Metropolitan Municipality, we have made another investment of 20 million 360 thousand TL in total city transportation with the asphalt renewal work on Malazgirt Boulevard, which connects Nalçik Boulevard and Kadir Has Boulevard, two important arteries in the city's transportation network.”
