Çambaşı Ski Resort is Ready for the Winter Season

The Doğa ski resorts in Çambaşı Plateau, which has been transformed into a tourism center by the Ordu Metropolitan Municipality with major investments in the last 5 years and is one of the closest ski resorts to the sea and airport in Turkey by changing its entire infrastructure during the summer season, are opening the winter season. The ski resort will start hosting its guests this season as of tomorrow with its modern accommodation areas, variety of winter sports and unique natural beauty.

PREPARATIONS OK

Within the scope of the works carried out, while the chairlift maintenance was carried out in the ski center in the facility, forestation works were carried out around the ski slopes. Snow machines and snow engines were maintained and repaired, and arrangements were made on the tracks. The facility has been prepared for the new season with the works carried out in the bungalows preferred by the guests for accommodation.

ACCOMMODATION OPPORTUNITY IS INCREASED

In Çambaşı Nature Facilities, where the works for accommodation, which is among the indispensable places for holidaymakers, have been completed, the number of accommodation rooms has been increased in addition to the bungalows. In the facility where there are 12 bungalows in total, 34 hotel rooms have been created. With this increase, the accommodation problem of the guests coming to the facility has been solved.

PARKING CAPACITY DOUBLED

The facility, which is flooded with local and foreign tourists especially during the winter season, has had its parking lot improved and its capacity doubled. The parking problem for incoming guests has been eliminated.

BABY LIFT OPPORTUNITY FOR NOW SKIERS

A 100-meter-long baby lift was built for the novice guests coming to the facility. Novice skiers will have a fun and easy training with this training, which is put into service for those who are new to skiing.

QUALITY OF RUNWAYS INCREASED

Increasing the quality of the tracks, the teams planted rhododendrons to serve as a snow curtain in the areas exposed to the wind. Landscape works were also carried out in the lower and upper station areas, giving the facility a visual aesthetic.

WE ARE READY TO HOST OUR GUESTS

Stating that the Doğa Tesisleri, which is one of the ski resorts closest to the sea and the airport in Turkey, is ready for the new season, Ordu Ski Sports Board Chairman Fevzi Turan said that all infrastructure and superstructure are ready.

Turan made the following statement in his statement: “All infrastructure and superstructure works of the facility were completed during the summer period. After the effective snowfall that started last weekend, our facility will start its activities as of Saturday. All kinds of activity preparations for local and foreign tourists coming to our facilities have been completed. We will also appeal to the palates of our guests with our rich menu. We are ready. We are waiting for our guests.”

On the other hand, Çambaşı Nature Resort, which hosted hundreds of thousands of people in the past seasons as a result of the studies and promotional activities carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality, is expected to be the first choice of citizens this season.
