While İYİ Party Economic Policies Chairman Bilge Yılmaz announced that he resigned from his social media account, he also invited the party Chairman Meral Akşener to resign.

Yılmaz said in his post, "I invite İYİ Party Chairman Ms. Meral Akşener to resign" and added: "We must start working today to save our country from the bad and incompetent management of the AK Party government in the upcoming general elections. These results show that we have a lot of work to do and no time to waste. "I am resigning from my position as the Chairman of İYİ Party Economic Policies in order to focus on the work I will do in this direction," he said.
