At least 30 People Killed in Israel's Attack in Syria

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) announced that approximately 30 soldiers were killed in Israeli attacks on Aleppo province in northern Syria on Friday.

SOHR said Israel may have attacked an area where the Iran-backed Shiite militia group Hezbollah, an ally of the Palestinian Islamic Movement, has weapons depots.

Israel did not comment on the attack. Over the nearly decade of the war in Syria, Israel has carried out hundreds of attacks on the country, but these have rarely been officially announced.

The number of such attacks has increased since the start of the Palestine Islamic Movement's offensive on October 7.
