Manisa Fire Department Announced 2023 Year-End Report

Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department announced the year-end report on the incidents intervened in 2023 to the public.

Fire Department continues its work with 57 fire points, 155 vehicles and 637 personnel; In 2023, a total of 8 thousand 939 firefighters intervened in the incident, including 881 thousand 2 fires, 947 traffic accidents, 457 thousand 13 rescue operations, and 224 floods. The Fire Department responded to 19 thousand 110 calls throughout the year and carried out 1888 workplace inspections. In order to make citizens and students more aware of natural disasters and fires, 58 thousand 570 people were trained and drills were carried out in public institutions and organizations and in schools. In addition, the Metropolitan Fire Department was awarded a certificate of appreciation by the Ministry of Internal Affairs for its work in the disaster of the century that occurred on February 6, 2023; He was honored with the Certificate of Distinguished Waiver by the Libyan state for his intense work in the flood disaster that occurred in Libya on September 10, 2023.
