Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that traffic-related noise was minimized with technical measurements and science-based modern asphalt solutions made by the Department of Technical Affairs in the important main arteries of the city with high traffic volume.

“According to the data obtained by our Department of Technical Affairs based on the measurements made, a 10-15 percent reduction in traffic noise was achieved on these streets. No matter what work is done, it is necessary to think multi-facetedly, not one-sidedly. We are working not only to make asphalt, but also to do better and to contribute more to our people. The reduction in noise level of up to 15 percent with asphalt works was very important for us in this respect. I congratulate our relevant Department and technical team. “We will continue such work on our roads where it is needed.”
