Istanbul's largest public transportation institution, IETT, continues its field inspections in every part of Istanbul. Within the scope of frequently repeated inspections, all IETT managers use public transportation to and from work. By making on-site observations and effective instant interventions, possible problems are prevented before they start.

IETT, which is the largest institution of Istanbul's public transportation with its fleet and number of passengers, provides uninterrupted service in every point of Istanbul, while also increasing its field inspections with all its managers. IETT, which manages a huge transportation fleet of 3 thousand 556 vehicles, 6 thousand 572 of which are its own fleet, carries out 800 thousand trips on 55 different lines per day. It travels one million 255 thousand kilometers.

DURING THE BUSY TRANSPORTATION HOURS

In order to ensure the smooth operation of the system, which operates 7 hours a day, 24 days a week, in every part of Istanbul from Silivri to Pendik, IETT management continues to increase its inspections at every point of the city. The entire management staff of IETT participates in the audits.

All IETT managers are on site between 06:00 - 09:00 in the morning and 17:00 - 20:00 in the evening, when passenger and vehicle traffic is heavy. He uses IETT vehicles for transportation. Effective interventions are made to instant problems through field inspections attended by all managers, especially İETT General Manager İrfan Demet. While instant interventions are made to the opinions, suggestions and complaints received from passengers, they are also reported so that they do not occur again and necessary improvements can be made.
