According to the meteorological evaluation of IBB AKOM, the southwest wind will strengthen and increase its effect today. It is estimated that temperatures will rise to around 23 degrees with the effective southwest wind. On Saturday, November 4, the southwest wind is expected to intensify and turn into a storm, and occasional thunderstorms are expected to occur.

According to the latest assessment made by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) AKOM, southwest wind will increase its effect at noon today. Temperatures will hover around 23 degrees.

The southwest wind is expected to increase its intensity (4-40km/h) after noon on Saturday, November 60 (tomorrow), and to be effective as a strong storm (50-80km/h) with short bursts from the evening hours. It is predicted that there will be a short-term heavy thunderstorm along with the storm.

The relevant IMM teams have switched to a watch system with a sufficient number of personnel and equipment against any negativities that may occur due to the storm and heavy rain that are expected to be effective as of tomorrow evening. Istanbulites were also warned against possible negativities.

It is predicted that the system will leave our region in the early hours of Sunday morning and that the weather will be mostly sunny, while temperatures will continue to be in the range of 21-24 degrees.
