Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has rolled up its sleeves to realize another important investment in the Kartepe Cable Car Project, which has been Kocaeli's 50-year dream. In this context, a tender was held by the Metropolitan Municipality for the Kartepe Cable Car Multi-storey Car Park, which is planned to be built for the citizens who come to use the cable car. 4 companies submitted bids for the open tender. The lowest bid was 244 million 989 thousand TL. The results of the offers from the companies will be announced after the evaluation of the tender commission.
598 VEHICLE PARKING
Kartepe Cable Car Multi-Storey Car Park, which will be built on an area of 22 thousand 338 square meters, will have a total capacity of 36 vehicles, including 54 disabled vehicles and 598 electric vehicle parking spaces. There will be 6 pedestrian elevators in the car park, which is designed as 3 floors.
365 WILL BE COMPLETED IN DAY
After site delivery, the Kartepe Cable Car Multi-Storey Car Park Project is planned to be completed within 365 days. With the parking lot to be located just below the starting point of the cable car line, citizens who come to use the cable car will be able to leave their vehicles in the parking lot. With this project, Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality aims to prevent the congestion that will occur along the cable car line.
