Kaleiçi, the historical city center of Antalya, is now being promoted in China. Promotional films of the ancient city, which lives all year round, will be shown on the Gulin-Muratpaşa Friendship Bus, which was established on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Muratpaşa Municipality becoming a sister city with Gulin, one of the most important tourism cities of the country.
Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal continues his contacts within the scope of the China-ASEAN Mayors Forum, to which he was invited on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of being a sister city with Gulin Municipality.
In this context, Mayor Uysal attended the ceremony held for the start of the Gulin-Muratpaşa Friendship Bus in public transportation in memory of the 10th anniversary of sister city relations. Promotional films of Kaleiçi will be shown throughout the year on the bus, which is covered with photographs of Antalya's natural wonder, the cliff coastline and Kaleiçi.
'FRIENDSHIP OF ANCIENT CITIES'
Muratpaşa Mayor Ümit Uysal invited cities with historical and cultural heritage areas to come together under the 'Ancient Cities Friendship' at the forum held at the 26th International Kaleiçi Old Town Festival, held on 29-8 October this year. Uysal pointed out that the promotion of cities will spread all over the world throughout the year with the solidarity that will start around this concept.
