
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) continues to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic with various events organized all over the city.
Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Republic with great enthusiasm, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality said "100th Anniversary". XNUMX Women's Festival was organized. Speaking at the festival organized by women members of the Women's Clubs and Family Life Center, Head of Women's and Family Services Department, Assoc. Dr. Serkan Yorgancılar said, “Mustafa Kemal Atatürk appreciated the place of women in society and civilization enough to say, 'Everything we see in the world is the work of women.' During the War of Independence, many Turkish women such as Hali Edip Adıvars, Kara Fatmas, Nene Hatuns fought on the fronts all over Anatolia to ensure and establish the Republic. With the establishment of our Republic, women's rights, which do not exist anywhere else in the world, were gifted to Turkish women.” said.
“We are trying to provide women-first service”
Stating that, as Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, they work with women as a priority, Yorgancılar continued his words as follows:
“As the Department of Women and Family Services, as the basis of an innovative and developing society, we will provide 21 Women's Clubs, 1 Shelter, 1 Women's Counseling Center, 24 Family Life Centers, 20 Children's Activity Centers with the new centers we will open, 20 Children's Activity Centers that we carry out together with UNICEF, for women in the Capital. With the Children's Class, we try to provide priority service to women at every point of life. On this occasion, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic.”
