Armutlu said, “There are approximately 25 narrators in the documentary. In our films, we like to work with people who work in the local area, who live in that region or in a big city, but who spend most of their time doing research in war zones, who work hard and produce. The Path of Hope or the Path of Victory?

''When we look back from the 100th anniversary of the Republic, was the Path of Hope or the Path of Victory difficult?' Alp Armutlu gives the following answer to the question:

“I think the road itself was difficult. Because you have no independence in this struggle. You are a prisoner... Your life depends on the decisions made by other people at the table at that time. We only know the first bullet fired by Hasan Tahsin on May 16, the day Izmir was occupied. However, Konak Square was full of the bodies of thousands of Turks that day! Isn't this difficult?

The Greek Army, which started to escape from the Turkish Army attacking Polatlı Çekirdeksiz Village, is burning people in the village. Alive. A woman approaches our soldier with her husband's ashes in her hand and screams; “Oh my son, how can a person burn another person?” saying… This was very difficult.

We embarked on the two paths used by heroic people, shoulder to shoulder with İnebolu's Hope, Ankara's Victory decisions, and the Turkish Army that went to victory on the fronts. It was hard to get out, but I'm glad we did it. It's good that we managed to take a step on these two difficult paths. We are fortunate that on the way we encountered the grandchildren of people who lived through tough struggles and what they told us about their experiences. The road was all difficult. But everything was easy compared to what the heroes of that day went through.”

The response in the viewer's memory

In the documentary, which begins on 05 August 1921, when the Speaker of the Assembly, Mustafa Kemal Pasha, was elected Commander-in-Chief and extends to 21 November 1938, "Where does the Road to Victory pass in these lands, from within you, from your heart, or from your dreams?" Dozens of questions such as these find answers in the minds of the audience as the documentary progresses.

It meets the audience in November
