The second Women's Labor Market, organized by Adana Metropolitan Municipality Women and Family Services Department, was organized to support women taking an active role in economic life and to contribute to their entrepreneurship.
Women's Labor Market, established with the slogan "Always Stronger as You Produce", will be held between 29-30 September 2023; It was held in Adana's Seyhan District, Cemalpaşa District, Toros Street, Gazipaşa Children's Park, with the participation of women cooperatives and women producers operating in Adana.

Women's cooperatives and women entrepreneurs offered their products for sale at their stands in the market where handmade products were available. At the Women's Labor Market, colorful handmade products produced in the fields of jewelry, knitting, crochet, sewing, ornamentation, painting, bag making, knitted dolls, cross-stitch, ceramics, glass, painting and similar fields were exhibited. With the Women's Labor Market established by the Department of Women and Family Services, women's cooperatives and women entrepreneurs brought the products they produced with their own means to the people of Adana.
Türkiye will be stronger as women produce
Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar visited the Women's Labor Market and said that Turkey will be stronger as long as women produce and exist in economic life.
Bureaucrats from Adana Metropolitan Municipality and district municipalities, women's cooperative members, representatives of non-governmental organizations and professional chambers, headmen and residents of Adana visited the stands.
Active production support workshop was held
At the Women's Labor Market, with the participation of Turkish and Syrian women, with the support of the Department of Women and Family Services and Reslog; A women's dialogue and active production support workshop was held. In the workshop, women's contributions to production, the difficulties they experience while producing, solution suggestions to overcome this, the situation of selling the products they produce, the common needs of women in the sales process of the products they produce, the obstacles they face, what the problems are, what the municipality can do to include more women producers in business life. It was discussed that he could do it.
In addition, awareness and information activities about women's rights were carried out at the stand set up in the market by the Department of Women and Family Services. The Children's Services Branch Directorate of the Department organized activities such as music, face painting, free painting and rhythm workshops for children at the Gazipaşa Children's Park, where the Women's Labor Market was established.
