The penalty for hunting wild boar in 2023 is an administrative fine of 3.134,00 TL if hunting without a hunting permit. In addition, 2.077,00 TL compensation must be paid for the wild boar hunted.

Wild boar is a protected animal under the Land Hunting Law No. 4915. Therefore, in order to hunt wild boar, it is necessary to obtain a hunting license and a hunting permit. The hunting license is issued by the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs. Hunting permits are issued by provincial and district hunting commissions.

Hunting wild boar without a hunting permit requires an administrative fine according to misdemeanor provision 21/1. This penalty must be paid within one month in accordance with Article 5326/24 of the Misdemeanor Law No. 3.

For wild boar hunted, compensation must be paid in accordance with Article 4915 of the Land Hunting Law No. 25. Compensation is determined by taking into account the species and weight of the wild boar hunted. The compensation amount determined for the wild boar is 2.077,00 TL.

The penalty for hunting wild boar is applied if hunting is done without a hunting license or permit. Therefore, people who want to hunt wild boar must verify that they have the necessary permits.
