Mersin Metropolitan Municipality, which has made a name for itself with the national and international sports organizations it organizes, will leave its mark this year with the ProBeach Tour Mersin Stage. ProBeach Tour Beach Volleyball Mersin Stage, organized in cooperation with Mersin Metropolitan Municipality and Turkish Volleyball Federation, will be held between 29 September and 1 October. The total prize money for beach volleyball to be held at Kızkalesi Beach will be 200 thousand TL. 12 women's and 14 men's beach volleyball teams will compete in the matches.

At ProBeach Tour, where spectator entrance will be free, free shuttle service will also be provided for 3 days. Providing information about the competition to be held at Kızkalesi Beach in Mersin's Erdemli District, Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Services Department Head Emrullah Taşkın said, “In addition to all the services we provide to the citizens, we have gained significant momentum in sports services, we are doing very important work. ProBeach organization is one of them. We did the first one last year. We're doing it for the second time. We start on Friday, September 29th and finish on Sunday, October 1st. It's an international organization. From 7 different countries in total; 12 teams, 14 women's and 26 men's teams, are participating. We expect it to be a good organization. "We are waiting for all Mersin residents to this organization," he said.

Noting that it is an event where sports and entertainment will be together, Taşkın stated that they will also provide a shuttle service for transportation to Kızkalesi and said, "For those who want to come here from Mersin, there will be a shuttle service from Forum AVM stop to Kızkalesi every day at 08.30 in the morning and at 13.30 in the afternoon. Our buses will depart. Our people who vacation in Kızkalesi also participate. They will watch very good matches. Matches will continue from 09.00 in the morning until 18.00 in the evening for three days. "We will also have concerts in the evenings," he said.
