The Metropolitan Municipality, which focuses on investments that will highlight the tourism potential of the city by evaluating the historical, cultural and natural riches of Kocaeli, continues its construction work on the Thermal Tourism Facility that will be brought to the Başiskele district. Rapid progress is being made in the facility, which is under construction in 3 blocks in the thermal water area in Yeniköy District.
THERMAL POOLS, REST AREAS
Work at the Başiskele Thermal Facility, which will highlight the tourism aspect of Kocaeli, continues under the supervision of the Building Control Department. Designed with aesthetic and traditional architecture, the facility will include thermal pools, Turkish bath, sauna, family bathrooms, recreation areas, entertainment and activity areas.
TOURISTS WILL FLOW TO THE REGION
The facility, which will use thermal water that comes from 930 meters underground at a temperature of 57 degrees and is expected to be a source of healing for many diseases, will host many guests when completed. Thus, the Metropolitan Municipality, which aims to further increase the tourism potential of Kocaeli by bringing together its historical and natural beauties, aims to further increase the touristic appeal of the region with the Thermal Tourism Facility it will build in Başiskelesi.
CONSTRUCTION IS PROGRESSING FAST
Başiskele Thermal Facility construction is progressing rapidly. C block -3. The contractor company, which has completed the screed application of the floor, continues the wall covering and mechanical device installation. In block B, foundation concrete was laid. The teams established the -4.00 level slab formwork and started the installation of iron reinforcement, completed the sub-foundation insulation layers in block A and poured the foundation concrete. The contractor company's employees also completed the concreting process of the water tank curtains. The facility, built on an area of 10 thousand 621 square meters, is planned to be put into service as soon as possible.
