It was reported that Hong Kong International Airport achieved the titles of "Best Airport in Asia" and "Best Airport in China" in the 30th World Travel Awards (WTA) competition. Hong Kong International Airport was selected as Asia's leading airport in 2020 and 2021.
Airport Authority Hong Kong Chief Operating Officer Vivian Cheung said: “We have introduced a range of new facilities, services and technologies to give passengers a whole new airport experience. “It is very encouraging to learn that the votes of travelers and industry experts from around the world recognize and appreciate our efforts,” he said. It is also among the information given that the number of tourists passing through the airport increased by 5 percent compared to last month and increased by 7,3 times compared to the same period last year.
