Turkey's artistic sun, Zeki Müren, was commemorated with a concert organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Orchestra Branch Directorate on the 27th anniversary of his death.
Art lovers from Bursa showed great interest in the concert held at Tayyare Cultural Center. Duygu Güleç, who took the stage as a guest artist, took the people of Bursa on a journey of nostalgia while performing the songs of Zeki Müren, the Sun of Art.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Fethi Yıldız, who gave a plaque of appreciation to artist Duygu Güleç at the end of the concert, said, “The sun of Turkish Classical Music really rose in Bursa. I congratulate the people of Bursa who do not leave alone every artist who comes on stage to ensure that this sun does not go out and does not lose its shine. "I remember Zeki Müren with mercy, may he rest in peace," he said.
Artist Duygu Güleç, who met with the people of Bursa at the night commemorating Zeki Müren, said, "The people of Bursa are a people who protect Zeki Müren, so thank you, they did not leave us alone tonight. I thank them individually. "I am very honored to be the soloist of such a night," he said.
