The 20th International Konya Mystic Music Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism with the contribution of Konya Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the Turkey Culture Road Festival, started with the "Vuslat March" and the Sema ritual performed by 250 whirling dervishes at the same time in Mevlana Square. The spiritual atmosphere was intensely felt in the program, which was followed with interest by thousands of guests from Konya and outside Konya. The 20th International Konya Mystic Music Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism together with Konya Metropolitan Municipality within the scope of the Turkey Culture Road Festival, started with the opening ceremony held in Mevlana Square.
As part of the opening events of the festival, the first "Uslat March" was held from Alaaddin Hill to Mevlana Square with 250 whirling dervishes. For a walk; Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nadir Alpaslan, AK Party Konya Deputy Mehmet Baykan, Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay, AK Party Konya Provincial Chairman Hasan Angı, mayors, protocol members and citizens attended.
In the opening ceremony held in Mevlana Square, the prayer and dhikr program called "Halvet-i Devranı", organized by the Foundation for Research and Survival of Turkish Sufi Music and Folklore, under the leadership of artist Ahmet Özhan, was followed with interest.

At the end of the program, Konya experienced one of its most special days. The spiritual atmosphere was intensely felt in the program, where 250 whirling dervishes performed the whirling dervish ritual at the same time. Thousands of citizens from Konya and outside Konya followed the program with interest.
MAYOR ALTAY INVITTED ALL OF TURKEY TO KONYA
Konya Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay said, “The Sema ritual was performed with 250 whirling dervishes in Mevlana Square. All Konya residents and our guests accompanied this. It was truly a day when we experienced the spiritual climate again. Our Mystic Music Festival will continue uninterrupted until the evening of September 30th. "We are waiting for all of Turkey to our mystical music festival," he said.
He said that they were very happy to feel the spiritual climate that emerged with the citizens who followed the program in Mevlana Square.
The Sema ritual, which took place with the participation of 250 whirling dervishes, will be performed again on September 24 at 17.00 in Mevlana Square.
EBRU MAPPING SHOW AT METROPOLITAN STONE BUILDING
On the other hand, within the scope of the festival, Ebru Mapping Show was projected on the historical Stone Building restored by Konya Metropolitan Municipality by Ebru Artist Garip Ay. The marbling show at the Stone Building will be presented to art lovers every day at 27 until September 19.15.
Within the scope of the festival, which will meet art lovers until Saturday, September 30, groups and artists from Turkey, Africa, the Middle East and Turkish geographies will perform special concerts and events.
