Former Minister of National Defense and Chairman of the National Defense Commission Hulusi Akar, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Together with Memduh Büyükkılıç and the provincial protocol, the project is carried out in order to commemorate Mount Erciyes with thermal tourism and to evaluate its potential.
Hot water drilling works are continuing by the Metropolitan Municipality to increase the potential of Erciyes and make it a center of attraction that can be used for 12 months.
In this context, Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and AK Party Kayseri Deputy Hulusi Akar, Kayseri Governor Gökmen Çiçek, AK Party Kayseri Deputies Ayşe Böhürler, Murat Cahid Cıngı and S. Bayar Özsoy, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, AK Party Provincial Chairman Fatih Üzüm, Culture and Tourism Provincial Director Şükrü Dursun, Kayseri Chamber of Commerce Chairman Ömer Gülsoy, Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone Chairman Mehmet Yalçın, Metropolitan Municipality General Secretary Hüseyin Beyhan, Deputy General Secretary and Erciyes A.Ş. Hamdi Elcuman, Chairman of the Board of Directors, examined the work carried out with the participation of the provincial protocol, including Deputy Secretary General Serdar Öztürk.
“WE HAVE ACHIEVED OUR DREAMS. “WE FOUND OUR THERMAL WATER IN ERCIYES MOUNTAIN”
Mayor Büyükkılıç, in his statement here during the investigations, said, “We have achieved our dreams. "Thank God Almighty, we found our thermal water on Mount Erciyes," he said.
Stating that the work in the region continues rapidly, Büyükkılıç said, “Hopefully, we will find more and we hope that the degree will increase in the future. Currently, we observe that the water is between 36 and 38 degrees. Thus, we will implement a project that will spread our Erciyes over 12 months. "Good luck and good luck," he said.
Former Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar also said, "I sincerely congratulate our esteemed mayor, our esteemed governor, and our fellow citizens of Kayseri, I congratulate them and thank them."

Emphasizing the importance of Erciyes for Kayseri and Turkey, Akar said, “Erciyes is of great importance as a region in Kayseri. It is a very important place not only for Kayseri but also for Türkiye. Plateau tourism has been done for years, ski tourism has been done, it is being done, and it is developing more and more every day. "With the addition of thermal tourism, this will become one of the most important destinations," he said.
