Within the scope of the 'Fire Department Personnel Vocational Training' program organized by the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB), 12 firefighters coming to Bursa from 15 different cities are improving themselves with realistic exercises.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department hosts the training organized by TBB in order to transfer the experiences of experienced fire brigades to other provinces. 15 firefighters from Hakkari, Uşak, Yalova, Batman, Zonguldak, Amasya, Erzincan, Şırnak, Nevşehir, Niğde, Kırıkkale and Sinop underwent 3-week training on the challenging course at the Fire Brigade Training Center in Küçükbalıklı. Firefighters received challenging training at the training center, such as fire intervention, rescuing an injured person trapped in a vehicle in a traffic accident, and descending from a height with a rope. In addition, they also participated in injured rescue training at Uludağ Softaboğan and Mustafakemalpaşa Suuçtu waterfalls and basic lifeguard training at Karacabey Strait.
Once the first level is successfully completed, the training will last for a total of 3 levels.
