This summer, 85 thousand visitors entered the Acarlar Longozu, which was given a new look by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality. Floodplain, where landscaping and landscaping and social facilities such as a local product sales center, souvenir office and cafeteria add color, became the most preferred tourist area in the northern part of the city this summer.
Natural wonder green paradise
Acarlar Flood Flood, which is the longest single-piece floodplain in Turkey with a length of 7 kilometers, was taken over by the Metropolitan Municipality last year. The floodplain, which was completely renovated by the metropolitan city without damaging its naturalness, became the focal point of many local and foreign tourists with its new appearance. In the floodplain, where 74 plant genera and 3 taxa, including 187 families and 226 rare endemic plants in the world, 215 different birds, 22 reptiles, 36 mammals and 6 fish species live, visitors can closely examine the natural wonder on a 1 kilometer wooden walking track.
