Kayseri Erciyes International Road Cycling Races, held between 8 July and 19 August, will continue with the Grand Prix Kültepe stage. Erciyes is known as the place that hosts the most bicycle races in the world in the calendar of the International Cyclists Union UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale), headquartered in Italy.
Erciyes International Road Cycling Races are organized by the Erciyes High Altitude and Sports Tourism Association, under the leadership of the International Cyclists Association UCI and the Turkish Cycling Federation, and under the auspices of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, Erciyes A.Ş., Spor A.Ş. and the Bicycle Tourism Association. Cycling teams from all over the world, especially Turkey, participate in bicycle races.
The races, which started with the Grand Prix Erciyes stage on Saturday, July 8, will continue with the Grand Prix Kültepe on July 30, 2023.
Cyclists will start at the Anatolian Wonderland Science Center and continue with Bünyan-Tatılı on the 144-kilometer GP Kültepe tour, and end at the finish point at the Anatolian Wonderland Science Center.
In addition, Kayseri Erciyes will be the first stop of the Tour of Anatolia MTB Mountain Bike Championship competitions, which will be held for the first time in Turkey and cover 4 cities. The races with stages, which will be held on 24-27 August 2023, will be started from Erciyes Ski Center. Cyclists will start from Kayseri and turn the pedals to the beauties of Anatolia in Kırşehir, Nevşehir and Kırıkkale provinces.
