Transforming the photography experience by holistically enhancing the smartphone camera with the Ultra Lighting Telephoto Camera, the HUAWEI P60 Pro redefines photography in the flagship smartphone market, from the redesigned optical path to the large aperture lens.

It's always frustrating when parts of a photo are dark due to a lack of light and incorrectly reflect your memories. Huawei has added the Ultra Illuminated Telephoto Camera to the latest HUAWEI P60 Pro to diffuse the darkness in photos. With the redesigned optical path, it now stands out as the smartphone camera with the highest light reception in the industry: The Ultra Illumination Telephoto Camera has a f178 wide aperture that provides 2.1% more light with its Multiple Lens Groups.

Most smartphone telephoto cameras maintaining the slim size of the smartphone can mean smaller light sensitive sensors and aperture size which can result in blurry photos due to insufficient lighting in a dark environment. The HUAWEI P60 Pro redesigned the optical imaging path to form the Ultra Illumination Lens Assembly, which works with the RYYB SuperSensing sensor to revolutionize the camera's light reception. With the 3-axis motion sensor in the telephoto camera system, the ability to remove 58% of vibration in long distance shots awaits you with the P60 Pro.

Now users don't have to fiddle with different filters or add extra equipment to capture all the scenes they want in High Dynamic Range (HDR) photos, whether they're photographing poorly lit indoors or at night. They can instantly point the camera and shoot to capture the moment without losing any detail or having to wait for camera settings to be adjusted.

Telephoto Super Macro: Goes far so you don't have to

The Ultra Illumination Camera can also surprisingly be used as a macro photography camera. Designed in conjunction with an additional set of Long Action Shift Zoom Lens Assembly, it provides flexible control of focusing distance. This means that the telephoto camera is capable of clear imaging, from long distance shots to zoomed-in macro shots.

SLR-level image stabilization: Telephoto Anti-Shake Sensor

The HUAWEI P60 series also offers the industry's first Telephoto Anti-Shake Sensor Rotation, which uses counter-dynamic movement of the sensor instead of dynamic movement of the lens. With this sensor, which moves in 3 axes, telephoto shots allow you to achieve much more successful results.

In the HUAWEI P60 series, the optical distance is shorter due to the anti-shake sensor, eliminating the unsightly effects caused by unstable or shaking hands. Under the same error accuracy, optical image stabilization performance has been greatly improved. Anti-shake consistency increases by 58 percent from the center to the four corners of the photo.

Super moon view: re-imagine the night sky

The new Super Moon Scene offers users a new creative tool to photograph the moon in a whole new light. Gone are the days of hyper-zoomed blurry images of the moon – Super Moon Shot uses artificial intelligence to enhance the details of the moon to produce better and clearer shots of the night sky. With its advanced focusing mode and HDR effects, the smartphone camera can capture an accurate and richly detailed image of the moon from your location.

Users who love night photography can try this feature and place the bear next to natural landscapes such as dramatic city skylines or forest silhouettes. Nature and landscape enthusiasts can now use their smartphone cameras for night photography without shying away from the poor quality night photos they've had in the past.
