The 30th anniversary of TURKSOY, the first international organization of the Turkic World, is celebrated with various events hosted by the member countries of the organization. The last address of the celebrations, which started in Almaty city of Kazakhstan on June 9 and continued in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan on June 13, was Tashkent, the Capital of Uzbekistan.
Within the scope of the events held with the participation of artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkey, the Turkic World themed painting, photography and handicrafts exhibition opened at the Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Arts, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, Uzbekistan Culture and Tourism Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov , Azerbaijan Culture Minister Adil Kerimli, Turkish States Parliamentary Assembly (TÜRKPA) Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er, Bursa Coordinator of the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World and Bursa Kültür A.Ş. General Manager Fetullah Bingül, TRT Avaz Coordinator Sedat Sağırkaya, THY Board Member Orhan Birdal and many officials and art lovers from the Turkish States attended.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Uzbekistan Culture and Tourism Minister Ozodbek Nazarbekov emphasized that TURKSOY is the common umbrella of the culture and art of brotherly peoples and the most important institution that promotes it to the whole world. Nazarbekov pointed out that Uzbekistan has been more actively involved in the activities of TURKSOY in recent years.

TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev said, “This success is the success of the Turkish World. It is the success of all of us. Today, we are at a point that we could not have imagined 30 years ago. We showed the world that we are together in various crises and difficult times. Every challenge has brought us closer to each other,'' he said.
Bursa Coordinator of the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World and Bursa Kültür A.Ş. General Director Fetullah Bingül pointed out that TURKSOY is an important umbrella organization and noted that the Capital of Culture, which was awarded to Bursa last year, provided significant support for the promotion of the city. Bingül added that they will continue to contribute to the unity of the Turkish World and to the cultural and artistic life.
Within the scope of the program, the exhibition at the Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Arts, in which samples of Uzbekistan's handicrafts were presented and photographs from the Turkic World, was watched with interest. Within the scope of the event, dishes from the culinary culture of various regions of the Turkish World were also served to the guests.
