US couple Michael and Alysha Dragoo said, “We are very happy to travel on the comfortable and convenient international passenger train operated by the China-Laos railway. We can go to many places in Yunnan and Laos by train. It is truly a great opportunity.”

Tourist Phoumy Sisaivong from Laos said, “After the Sino-Laos railway launched its international passenger train service, many Laotian companies want to do business in China. This time, my friends and I are going to China to research the longan market.”

One of the groundbreaking projects of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, the China-Laos railway started operations in December 2021. The 1.035 km long railway connects Kunming, China, to Vientiane, Laos.
