BMX Supercross European Cup Started in Sunflower Cycling Valley

BMX Supercross European Cup, the last race of Sakarya Bike Fest organized by Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, started at the Sunflower Bicycle Valley, Europe's most comprehensive facility.

The excitement of Sakarya Bike Fest, which has been experienced for 1 month in Sakarya, has reached its peak. The storm that continues with MTB mountain bikes, Tour Of road bikes and finally BMX supercross races continues today with the BMX European Cup. The competition, in which Europe's champion pedals competed fiercely, started at 11.00 in Sunflower Cycling Valley.

The BMX European Cup series, organized in 6 different countries by the European Cycling Union affiliated with the International Cycling Union, is being held in Sakarya for the first time in Turkey. It is held in the blue track area known as the cup BMX track, with the participation of 26 athletes from 149 countries and broadcast live from many countries. Sakarya hosts the 12th and 9th laps of the races, which consist of 10 laps in total and are run in Italy, Belgium, Lithuania and Czechia, respectively.

The races, where the best cyclists of Europe pedal, are held in 23 different categories: young women, women under 23, elite women, young men, men under 6 and elite men.

After the races, which will start at 13.30 and finish with the final stage, Turkey Motorcycle Aerobatic Champion Birkan Polat will present a show to the sports fans in the valley. On the other hand, after the final whistle of the races, the Metropolitan Municipality will distribute 15 bikes at the facility by drawing.
