Mayor of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Tunç SoyerPoetry Lines Meeting will be held for the third time this year in line with the goal of transforming İzmir into a cultural city. Within the scope of the event, which will start on Monday, June 12, 52 artists, 100 of whom are poets, will meet with the people of Izmir, accompanied by music.
İzmir Metropolitan Municipality City Archive, Museums and Libraries Branch Office continues its activities with "Poetry Lines". The third of the Poetry Lines Meeting, which brings art together with its enthusiasts in all areas of the city, will start on Monday, June 12, at 19.30, with a ceremony to be held at Alsancak Ferry Pier. Poetry readings accompanied by music, dance and mime show, poetry/mask costume presentation and the "Equestrian Poetry Show" of the Street Arts Workshop will also be in the activities to be held under the coordination of the poet-writer Namık Kuyumcu from Izmir.
100 artists in Poetry Lines
In the Poetry Lines Meeting, which will be attended by 52 artists, 100 of whom are poets, will be held in Alsancak İskele on 12 and 13 June, in front of Bostanlı Yasemin Cafe on 14 and 16 June, in Quarantine Square on 15 June, and in Foça Marseille Square on 17 June.
