In the Red Bull Half Court tournament, which was realized this year as part of the cooperation with the Turkish University Sports Federation, the semi-finals and final matches started in the men's and women's categories.
The winner of Red Bull Half Court 77, in which 38 women's and 70 men's basketball teams from 2023 universities participated, will be determined at the end of the competitions held in Istanbul Galataport Clock Tower Square.
Atatürk University, İzmir Concept Vocational School, Gazi University and Hacettepe University, which were successful at the end of the group qualifying in the women's category, will face each other to win the trophy. In the men's category, Middle East Technical University, Marmara University, Istanbul Beykoz University and Celal Bayar University will compete for the championship.
The teams that managed to lift the trophy in the organization will represent our country at the Red Bull Half Court World Final, which will be held in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, in September. In this year's Turkey Final of Red Bull Half Court, where Celal Bayar University won the championship in women and Alsancak Premium in men last year, various competitions and events will meet with the audience as well as the fierce competition.
In the Red Bull Half Court 3×3 basketball tournament, teams consist of 3 main and 1 substitute players. Matches are played over 10 minutes or 21 points. The team that reaches 21 points first or has the advantage of scoring at the end of 10 minutes is the winner of the match. If the scores of the two teams are equal at the end of the match, the fight goes to overtime. The team that scores 2 points in overtime also wins the match.
