Mercedes-Benz supports the Istanbul Music Festival with 2 concerts as the “Highly Contributing Show Sponsor” this year. Mercedes-Benz continues to support the Istanbul Music Festival, one of Turkey's most respected and well-established classical music events. Mercedes-Benz will be the “Highly Contributing Show Sponsor” for the 1th time at the festival, which will be held for the 17st time this year by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) between 2023-51 June 36.
With the support of Mercedes-Benz, which sponsored 51 separate concerts at the 2st Istanbul Music Festival, music lovers will be reunited with the German violin virtuoso Anne-Sophie Mutter, whom they have been waiting for for many years. Prepared to present an unforgettable violin feast to Turkish fans at the Atatürk Cultural Center Opera Stage on the evening of June 13, Mutter will perform the works of Vivaldi, Bach, André Previn and Josephe Bologne, accompanied by the Mutter's Virtuosi group he founded. The "Lifetime Achievement Award" of the festival will also be presented to the famous virtuoso on the same night.
Weekend Classics, another event of the festival that has been followed with great admiration for years, is taking place this year with the show sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz. Spectrum Saxophone Quartet and The Sarközy Trio & Janos Balazs will meet with music lovers on the festival stage to be set up in Fenerbahçe Park on Saturday, June 3rd. The concerts that will take place in the open air will meet the audience free of charge.
